Did you know that next month, members will have an opportunity to meet with
elected officials in a small setting to discuss important issues?
These "In the Know" sessions are held once a month and you must be a
member to attend. Past speakers include: Assembly Member Mary Salas,
County Supervisor Ron Roberts, Walter Ekard, Chief Administrative Officer for
the County of San Diego, Senator Denise Ducheny,
Assemblyman Joel Anderson, and Supervisor Greg
Cox.

SANDAN was recently awarded the American
Marketer of the Year (AMY) Award for Special
Events at the San Diego American Marketing
Association annual conference in May. This
prestigious award for Special Events (under
$25,000) recognized the significance of
SANDAN’s first annual conference entitled
“Outlook and Trends in the Sector” as well
as the Special Insert developed in
partnership with The Daily Transcript. The
insert and conference were highlighted
because of their overall quality and
effectiveness, innovative graphics design,
appropriateness to audiences and objectives
in addition to four other criteria. |
